"How good is my athlete?"
Answer: We assess.

Every Little League assessment uses the same technology we run in our portable pitching lab — Trackman pitch tracking and Hawkin Dynamics strength measurement. Your athlete gets real numbers, not opinions. Velocity, spin, movement, strength, bilateral symmetry — all captured in one session.

These aren't tryout evaluations. They're developmental baselines. The data tells you where your athlete is today so you can measure where they're going.

  • Throwing velocity (all positions, not just pitchers)
  • Spin rate and movement profile for pitchers
  • Grip strength and bilateral comparison
  • Sprint and agility testing
  • Individual report delivered to parent/guardian

"How good should they be?"
Answer: We have the data to show you.

A number means nothing without context. 52 mph at age 11 — is that good? Average? Behind? You can't answer that question without knowing what other athletes at the same age are doing.

We have over 5,000 assessment data points spanning eight years of North Shore Little League testing. That dataset gives us normative values — age-specific benchmarks for every metric we capture — from age 9 through 24+.

Your athlete's report doesn't just show their numbers. It shows where those numbers sit relative to their age group. Not compared to a 14-year-old. Not compared to a college player. Compared to other athletes at the exact same stage of development.

"How do they get better?"
Answer: Three pathways.

The assessment tells you where the athlete is. These are the paths to where they need to go.
